Welcome

Established at UCLA in 1969, the American Indian Studies Center and Asian American Studies Center (AASC) have played an indispensable role in establishing American Indian Studies and Asian American Studies as viable and relevant fields of scholarship, teaching, community service, and public discourse. The respective centers have published the American Indian Culture and Research Journal (AICRJ) and Amerasia Journal since 1971, with AASC adding AAPI Nexus: Policy, Practice, and Community in 2003. All three are internationally renowned, multidisciplinary journals designed for scholars and the general public.
